Thinking of going Rallying? MSVT can help you take your first step to becoming a rally driver with an official BARS Rally licence test.
Regulated by Motorsport UK (MSUK); an official BARS Rally licence is the minimum entry requirement for most rally events and series in the UK. By obtaining one, you will have shown that you have a demonstrable knowledge of the structure of rallying and proven that you can drive safely on a closed rally stage.
Before booking you will require a Motorsport UK 'Go Rallying Pack' (available from www.motorsportuk.org) which contains your application form and everything you’ll need to prepare for the BARS test.
The BARS Rally licence test is only available at Brands Hatch (Kent) and at Oulton Park (Cheshire). Please check the upcoming dates listed below for availability:

The cost of the BARS Rally licence tests is set at £250 by MSUK.
Please be aware that this covers the theory and practical test elements only and you will not receive driver tuition during the stage driving assessment itself.
Although a DVLA road licence is not a requirement, we recommend candidates are familiar and comfortable with using a H-pattern manual gearbox and have some experience of driving on a loose surface.
If you think you need some additional training before your test, there is the option of adding a one-hour rally coaching session (available at Brands Hatch only) to your booking for £249. This must be booked in advance and cannot be added on the day.
